October 2018

Hari Om to All SCGCS Members

I hope all of our SCGCS members are doing great and are ready for the last two events of 2018 which are Navratri Program and Diwali Dinner. We ask our members to spread the word to their friends and family and come and celebrate Navratri. For all SCGCS members this event is free of charge. Those that want to do Aarti please see one of the trustee boards when you arrive.  SCGCS Oct 2018 Flyer can be downloaded at the f0llowing link SCGCS_Flyer_Oct2018

Due to Hall’s policy we are unable to serve cooked Prasad or snacks. So for Prasad, we request our members to bring dry Prasad or fruits. SCGCS will provide Aarti, so please don’t bring Aarti from home.

The next celebration is the Diwali/New Year program. Since it’s at a restaurant, the capacity is limited so please purchase your ticket in advance at the Navratri Program. We look forward to celebrating the New Year with family and friends.

If you would like to be part of SCGCS board of trustees in 2019 please download and complete the SCGCS New Trustee Application Form for 2019 and mail it by Nov. 15th, 2018.

In order for the board of trustees to serve SCGCS members better we are asking our members to update their information by completing the Membership Update Form.  SCGCS_Membership_Update_Form We ask you to complete this and mail it or bring it to one of the events. If we don’t receive this than you will not receive SCGCS flyers in 2019 by US Postal Service.

As most of you probably know, we recently lost Ukabhai Solanki, SCGCS’s Founding and Patron Member. Ukabhai and his family were great supporters of SCGCS and we extend peace and prayers to his family and loved ones.
