Namaskar to SCGCS Members

SCGCS Board of Trustees had a brief discussion about the potential of rain in the early AM and the temperature potentially being in high 50s. Due to rain, temp, and wind we have decided to cancel the Holi Celebration. We truly apologize and please pass on this message to all those individuals who may not get a chance to check this website.

Sincerely and with Regrets

Anil Patel (SCGCS President)

Hari Om to All SCGCS Members                                                  Feb 2019

We hope all of our members are doing well and are in good health.  We had successful programs in 2018 and looking forward to planning the 2019 events.  I want to thank all the board of trustees and SCGCS members who volunteer their own time to ensure the programs are executed well.

The details of the next three events are in the Feb 2019 flyer at the following link, SCGCS_Feb2019_Flyer.  The General Body meeting is going to be at Tandoor Restaurant and lunch will be provided.  In the General Body meeting we will review 2018 events and this is the forum where the members can bring up suggestions.  For the Holi Celebration it will be at Huntington Beach (Beach Blvd and PCH on the RHS).  Bring your friends and family to celebrate this auspicious event. Please note that there is a chance that the Holi celebration may get cancelled due to weather so please check at for any changes.SCGCS will provide colors and popcorn, please bring your own lunch.  Ram Navmi celebration will be at Gayatri Mandir, where SCGCS will sponsor the dinner at the end.

If you would like to sponsor the RamNavmi celebration or any other events, please contact any board of trutees.

Last but not least we are asking our members to help us update our data base, so we urge everyone to print SCGCS_Member_Update_Form and either mail it or bring it to one of the events.

We are hoping once again that we will see greater participation from our members in all events.
